On November 6th, 2007 brother Beha had 7 disc removed from his neck with fusion at 9 levels. The surgery involved a plate in the front with two rods down each side of his neck in the back. He is currently preparing for a surgery in his lower back. Due to the surgeries the Beha family has had to postpone their deputation. On November 25th, 2008 Mark had two rods extended from the first surgery and run all the way down his back and screwed to his pelvis. Brother Beha and his wife, Lynnette, have handed 2nd Chance Ministries over to Emmanuel Baptist Bible Church and has moved on to become Missionaries with Rock of Ages Ministries. Both Mark and Lynnette are currently full time missionaries with Rock of Ages Jail & Prison Ministries in region 4 which includes Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Kansas. Mark preaches in prisons on revivals and in churches to present the ministry and Lynnette is prepared to work with women inmates when possible. Mark is currently back on the road and will continue to preach in churches to encourage ministering to inmates and their families. He is also preaching in jails and prisons when possible.
